Privacy

Short and honest: what the fonj studio website knows about you and why. Operator: Aleksandr Ivanovich Kozlov, self-employed (Russian taxpayer ID 110117736289), fonj studio.

What we collect

When you open the site, we record simple visit statistics to understand which pages and projects people find interesting and where clients come from:

If you send a request, we receive what you wrote in the form and link it to your visit to understand what brought you to us.

What we do not do

Cookies and local storage

fj_vid
a random visitor ID that tells new visitors from returning ones. Kept for 1 year.
fonj_voter
remembers which projects you liked.
lang
the site language you chose.
csrftoken
protects forms from forged requests.
sessionid
a session; only studio staff need it to sign in to internal pages.
consent
a browser note (localStorage) that you dismissed the notice about these rules. The browser also remembers your theme.

Statistics run regardless of the “Got it” button in the notice: they help us make the site better. If you prefer not to be counted, disable cookies and JavaScript or use a private window with a blocker; the site keeps working.

How long we keep it

The IP address is kept for 180 days and then erased. The rest of the visit statistics are kept for 730 days and then deleted. Requests are kept while we work with you or discuss a project.

Geolocation

We determine country, city and provider from the IP using the IP Geolocation by DB-IP database (CC BY 4.0). The database is stored on our server; your IP is not sent to outside services for this.
